Day 1 of my 30 day challenge

Today begins a 30 day challenge with three of my coworkers. This crazy started during a happy hour discussion between myself and my coworker Kat. We were sitting at a local bar, Over and Out, and I don't remember how the conversation came up, but Kat suggested that we try a 30 day challenge. I had been telling her about the program and how I thought it could help with her thyroid problems so she decided we should go for it. We decided to & I invited two of our other coworkers whom I had talked about wanting to get fit with. Once we all had a copy of the dvd I made a 30 day challenge calendar for each of us to mark our progress on and today is day 1. Starting something like this on a weekend is always hardest for me because I have trouble getting motivated to exercise on the weekend, but I made myself do it. As I write this, I'm fresh off my workout and going to hop in the shower after this. The next 30 days are going to be hard, but I think with the support of my coworkers/friends I'll be able to complete this challenge & maybe come up with another one.

  1. If your friend has Thyroid issues... She would also greatly benefit from Dr. Natasha Turner's Hormone Diet book. Though it is called The Hormone Diet, it isn't so much of a "diet", as it is a permanent life style change.
    You could all read it as sort of a book club to help keep you all motivated.
